Patrick has written a number of feature articles on ideas and issues ranging from aerospace engineering and biodiversity research to nanotechnology, community dentistry and Canadian theatre education. In addition, he has written many profiles of individuals and events.
Patrick has also managed newsletter production - including defining articles in collaboration with the client, researching and writing the articles, coordinating photographs, collaborating with designers, and seeing the newsletter into the printing process - for such clients as McGill University's Faculties of Engineering and Science. He has contributed numerous articles to newsletters published by McGill's Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry.
Other clients have included the International Anthony Burgess Foundation, a literary/cultural organization based in Manchester, England for whom he managed the production process of its initial newsletters.
